India vs. Pakistan match is scheduled for October 14 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. It is one of the most eagerly awaited matches in the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023, and will pit the two countries' historical foes against one another.
Earlier this month, the Asia Cup 2023 pitted Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, against Babar Azam's Pakistan twice. One match was called off, and in the second, played in Colombo during the Super 4 round, India crushed Pakistan by 228 runs.
With Team India once again dominating their neighbours, official World Cup broadcasters Star Sports are planning to revive the well-known "Mauka Mauka" TV commercial campaign.
'Mauka Mauka' model Vishal Malhotra and Indian cricket all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja can be seen filming together in a recent 'behind the scenes' video that has gone popular on social media.
Prior to India's 2015 ODI World Cup encounter versus Pakistan, the 'Mauka Mauka' advertising campaign was first introduced. The very positive response the video received sparked a series of advertising for years to come before every India vs. Pakistan match in major world events, even though it was only intended as a single advertisement for India's group stage match against Pakistan in 2015.
Then Vishal Malhotra was chosen by the ad campaign's designers, Bubblewrap Films, to portray the role of the Pakistani fan. Alamgir Khan, a singer from Chandigarh, was contacted by the music producers. His main task is to record the jingle that would accompany the commercial.
Currently, Vishal Malhotra may be seen again filming for an advertisement alongside Ravindra Jadeja while sporting a Pakistan national shirt. In their seven encounters, Team India has never been defeated to Pakistan in an ODI World Cup encounter.
