Marcus Stoinis has not been at his best in the recent past. And the batter has been inconsistent in The Hundred 2022. He gave his best performance yesterday against Oval Invincibles. The Australian allrounder managed to score 37 runs off 27 balls. His innings went in vain as Oval Invincibles crushed the Brave by 7 wickets.

Mohammad Hasnain deceived the allrounder and while walking back to the pavilion, Stoinis pointed out that the bowler was chucking. He imitated an action as if the bowler chucked while bowling. And this has sparked a lot of controversies. Many cricket experts and former cricketers have called the jab to be 'unwanted'.

Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq took it to Twitter to express his displeasure about the same. "Disappointing reaction from Marcus Stoinis after he was dismissed by Mohammad Hasnain. How about sticking to playing cricket and letting the officials do their job #TheHundred #Cricket," Sadiq tweeted.

This is not the first time that someone has called Hasnain's action to be an illegal one. Earlier, Moises Henriques claimed his action to be illegal. In BBL, on January 2, umpire Gerard Aboord reported his action and the bowler was put to test at Lahore University of Management Sciences. The report found out that it was breaching the Cricket's governing body guidelines.

Moises Henriques told the reporters that time that he won't hesitate to call a spade, a spade. "Right from the first game he played and through to the tournament, it seemed that there was a few question marks there. I didn’t have the protractor out," Henriques told the reporters at that time. The Australian added that he knew that it had already been reported.

"I guess from my point of view, we knew already it had been reported. I feel like the umpires are a little bit hamstrung in terms of what they can actually do on the cricket field, because they’re so worried about backlash and public opinion," he added.

Oval Invincibles crushed Southern Brave as they won the match 14 of The Hundred 2022 by seven wickets.
