Fans frustrated with ticket woes, anticipation for World Cup soars
Recently, India's jersey underwent a change as Adidas became the apparel sponsor of the national side. Team India's jersey has struck a chord with the fans and it carries a football style-like apparel. IDFC First Bank will become the secondary sponsor which will start against the ODI series on home soil against Australia.
The World Cup has had its fair share of hurdles so far. From overpriced India-Pakistan tickets to a fungus -infested outfield at Dharmshala and also the Hyderabad Cricket Association had problems with the schedule till almost the last minute. Due to Navaratri in Gujarat, the India-Pakistan game also had to be rescheduled.
The fans have not been pleased with the experiences that they have had to go through with getting tickets. Since a lot of people were not able to get their hands on the tickets, many of them will be glued to their television sets to catch the action. When it comes to the craze for the tournament it will be hitting the roof and would be a wonderful atmosphere in India.
