WATCH: Fans tease Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah with 'Urvashi, Urvashi' chants, video goes viral

Young Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah is again being linked up with the Indian Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela on social media after the first match against the arch-rivals India. For the unversed, in an incident that happened during the Asia Cup 2022, Urvashi Rautela shared a video of herself with the young Pakistani cricketer.

However, later she went on to clear the things that the video was uploaded on her social media page by her team and that was a video made by a fan. Subsequently, Naseem Shah also went in to deny any link with Urvashi.

But another interesting incident happened during India vs Pakistan super-12 match yesterday. It all began when Naseem Shah was fielding near the boundary and fan went on to say all of sudden to Naseem, “Urvashi dhund rahi thi. (Naseem, Urvashi was searching for you),” and started teasing the young pacer in the mid-way of the game.

Notably, Urvashi made it to the headlines among the fans of both Bollywood and cricket when she flew to Australia for the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. Although she has recently come up with an update she is set to take from Australia as of now.

Coming back to Naseem Shah and his performance in yesterday’s match, the 19-year-old dismissed the senior Indian batter KL Rahul on a total of 7 runs. He conceded only 23 runs in his quota of four overs. Other than him, star pacer Haris Rauf and spin all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz scalped two wickets each for the men in green.

But unfortunately, the efforts from these guys went in vain under the batting storm of Virat Kohli. The former Indian skipper and modern-day great played a historic and remarkable knock of 82 runs to win the match for team India after rescuing them from a very miserable condition of four wickets lost on the score of 31 only.
