In the ongoing 12th game of the IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings have been dominating against Mumbai Indians. After electing to bowl first, they had a slightly poor start as Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan scored quickly in the powerplay. However, after their wickets fell, the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner provided vital breakthroughs in the middle overs.

Meanwhile, in the 16th over, the likes of Dwaine Pretorius and Ruturaj Gaikwad combined to register one of the greatest catches of the season. Apparently, MI's Tristan Stubbs played a lofted shot over long off. However, former South Africa international, Pretorious took the catch but had to lift the ball in the air as he was falling on the boundary cushion.

Gaikwad reached close to his teammate and completed the catch which might become the best catch of the tournament.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing 12th game of the tournament, the four-time winner, CSK won the toss and elected to bowl first. They lost the services of Ben Stokes, who got injured, and Moeen Ali. Meanwhile, after being bashed at the hands of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, the CSK bowlers made a great comeback in the game.

They restricted MI TO 157/8 with Tim David playing a cameo. In reply, the former champions had a poor start as they lost Devon Conway in the first over. However, it was calm before the storm for the five-time winners, MI. Apparently, Ajinkya Rahane, who made his debut for the Yellow Army, scored 19-ball 50, making it the fastest fifty of the season. After he got out, in-form Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube have taken the game close before the latter got out.

At the time of writing, CSK needs 24 off 28 balls to win the game.
