The Aussie opener went on to score a brilliant 66 from just 38 balls while playing for Delhi. His knock consisted of four fours and five sixes. It is to be noted that this is his second half-century in three games. However, his dismissal turned out to be a crucial moment in the match.

It got Bangalore right back in the game. Wanindu Hasaranga dismissed Warner in the third ball of the 11th over. After his dissimilar, the 35-year-old's daughter was visibly dejected. When the camera turned towards her, she was upset at her father's dismissal.

The video of her reaction went viral as well. As a matter of fact, Candice Warner (David Warner's wife) took to Twitter to share an image of the same. Their daughter was seen putting her hands on her face. Several people reacted to the videos and photos.

"When daddy gets out the girls are heartbroken. @davidwarner31 🤣❤️" read Candice Warner's Tweet. Although his daughter was heartbroken, Warner did play a gem of a knock. It was unfortunate that he had to end up on the losing side. Delhi skipper Pant drew light on the game. He too appreciated the veteran opener for his knock.

"I think Warner batted beautifully and gave us every chance to win the match. We could have done better in the middle overs. The wicket got better and better as the innings went along, that over from Mustafizur was a game-changer for us. I think we could bowl according to our plans, but we were under the pump, the way DK batted in the later overs was commendable," said Rishabh Pant after the completion of the game.
