Ahead of an important series against World Champion England, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam lavished praise on the Pakistan fans for their unconditional love and support for the national team. In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Babar Azam can be seen typing on his laptop in Urdu. Babar’s voice can be heard in the background where he heaps praise on Pakistan fans.

Further, the No 1 ODI batsman says that Pakistan fans are always there for the team. They cheer every victory and give confidence every time the team has an off day, adding there is none like the Pakistani fans.

Azam also had a special message for the Pakistan fans in the United Kingdom. He said the fans in the UK are always there to welcome the team to England. He added last time when Pakistan toured the nation, the fans were confined to their houses due to COVID-19 but he is happy that things have normalised and the fans will be cheering the team from the stadium. Babar also asked the fans back home and across the world to support the team. 

  "The biggest fanbase we have, after Pakistan, is in the UK," said the stellar batsman. "Whenever we come to England, cheering fans are present to support us from the airport to the hotels and the ground," he added.

The Men in Green are set to play three ODIs and as many T20Is against the ‘Three Lions’. The tour gets underway on July 8 while the team play their last match on July 20. Pakistan will also travel to West Indies after the series.
