Virat Kohli all set to open a new restaurant in Mumbai: Reports

Virat Kohli came into the Asia Cup 2022 after a brief break and has had a decent outing in the tournament so far. Although the veteran looks rusty, the hope for him to make a comeback is very high and people are betting on him to go big. The legend was breathing fire right until late 2019 and dominated the rankings for an entire decade.

However, post-2019, his career faced a downfall and since then, he has not been able to go back to his ultimate best. In late 2021, he was removed from his captaincy and the Bangalore batter's performances fell from worse to worst. The batting prowess of the Indian veteran is well known and outside of his cricketing life, Kohli has also invested in a few brands.

Owning a chain named 'One8 Commune', the batter ventured into the resto-bars arena and then went on to invest in 'Wrogn'. Apart from this, he's also invested in fragrance and cosmetics brands. It has now been reported that the Delhi-born will now bring up a restaurant in Mumbai after he procured a portion of 'Gouri Kunj', the bungalow owned by late singer Kishore Kumar.

The venture has been confirmed to the Times of India by Amit Kumar, the son of late singer Kishore Kumar. It will be yet another milestone in the veteran's stellar career outside the cricketing world and he'll look to come up with some interesting cuisines.

Virat Kohli had a decent outing in the first two matches against Pakistan and Hong Kong. In the first match, the batter managed to score a decent 35 while he bagged a fifty in the second. The Indian team has qualified for the Super Fours round alongside Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. It will be either Pakistan or Hong Kong who'll be joining them in the Super Fours.

The Indian legend is also the leading run-scorer of the Asia Cup 2022 and has scored 94 runs in two matches that he has played so far.
