Speaking of Kohli’s cricket, then he has recently made an excellent comeback in the form with the bat after smashing a swashbuckling hundred in the last super-4 match of India in the ongoing Asia Cup. Opening the inning with KL Rahul for India, Kohli smashed 122 runs off just 61 balls with 12 boundaries and six amazing sixes to his name.

Notably, he is the highest run-scorer in the current 15th edition of the Asia Cup with 276 runs in five innings of five matches with an outstanding average of 92.00. He smashed a century and two half-centuries with the bat in the tournament.

Now, Kohli is likely to be in action again on the field in the upcoming home assignments of the T20I series against Australia and South Africa. This schedule of team India will be followed by the T20 World Cup 2022.

Earlier, the veteran of 43 ODI centuries and 27 Test centuries was struggling with a poor run of form with the bat for a period of almost three years.
