We are very excited to use modular stadium technology - Geoff Allardice

"We explored a number of potential venue options in the country, and we were hugely encouraged by the enthusiasm the event generated amongst prospective hosts," he added. The CEO of the governing body said that modular stadium technology would be used for the premium hospitality areas. The venues in Dallas and Florida will be expanded so that more fans will be able to come and watch the games.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to use modular stadium technology. This technology has been used at previous world events to increase venue capacity and it's routinely used in other major sports around the world. he further said.  Allardice said that a stadium containing 34000 seats would be built at Nassau County, New York which could host the big clash between India and Pakistan if things go according to plan.

"In the USA, it will give us the opportunity to increase the size of the venues in both Dallas and Florida and create what is going to be a stunning venue in New York," The CEO of the Cricket Governing Body added. George Mason University which was Washington Freedom's home base in Major League Cricket (MLC) could be used as a training ground.
