India-Pakistan games hit a fever pitch during the Asia Cup 2023 as there were two encounters between the arch-rivals. The first match was hit by rain. The second game was a cracker as India beat Pakistan by 228 runs. The two nations will go head-to-head against each other in the 2023 ODI World Cup in Ahmedabad on October 14.

The India-Pakistan craze is about to get better as the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup game between the two sides is set to be played in a 34,000-seater stadium in New York. The 2024 edition will be co-hosted by West Indies and USA. USA recently hosted its flagship T20 tournament which is Major League Cricket (MLC) it was a roaring success and a lot of big-name overseas players were involved.

In the 2021 T20 World Cup Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets

India and Pakistan last played against each other in a T20 encounter at the T20 World Cup 2022 where they had a capacity crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) which was a cracking encounter where India won by 4 wickets. Virat Kohli was the star of the match as he cracked an unbeaten 82 to take India to victory from almost an unwinnable situation.

In the T20 World Cup in 2021, Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets and this was the first time that the Men in Blue lost to the Men in Green in a World Cup encounter. India crashed out after losses to New Zealand and Pakistan. In the 2011 World Cup, Pakistan and India played against each other at the Motera Stadium and the atmosphere was like none other.

All roads led to Mohali. the Prime Ministers of the two countries were also in attendance and it was a high-pressure semi-final game. Wahab Riaz picked up a five-wicket haul which meant that India were kept to 260 in their 50 overs. However, a good bowling performance meant that the Men in Blue won the game comfortably by 29 runs. They then went on to win the World Cup.
