With India leading the series 2-0, the two teams locked horns in the final ODI with England chasing a target of 170, and the team led by Amy Jones were bowled out for just 153 runs, falling 17 runs short of the target.

However, it was the final wicket from Deepti, that hit the headlines as the bowler produced a non-striker run-out to remove Charlie Dean, who scored a well-crafted 47, getting England closer to the target. This dismissal, however, still remains one of the most controversial of all time and many cricketers from England criticised the act from the Indian bowler.
