The men in green managed to outclass the Kiwis to become the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup. The star opening pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan made a strong comeback in the following dry run in the entire tournament.

But apart from Pakistan’s clinical performance, there was something else that has gone viral over social media. Actually, it all happened when a girl was giving a flying kiss on air during the clash between Kane Williamson’s New Zealand and the men in green at Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

Talking about the action of the match between Pakistan and New Zealand, the kiwi team posted a total of 152 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Skipper Kane Williamson and all-rounder Daryl Mitchell played the crucial knocks of 46 and 53 runs respectively. Ace Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi scalped two wickets in his quota of four overs.

While chasing the target, the opening duo of Babar Azam stitched a brilliant century-partnership of 105 runs for the first wicket before the skipper fell prey to Kiwi bowler Trent Boult at the individual score of 53 runs. But eventually, Pakistan won the match by seven wickets on the back of Mohammad Rizwan’s 57-run-knock off 43 balls with five boundaries. The 32-year-old was adjudged ‘player of the match for his knock in the favour of Pakistan.
