Team India is undoubtedly the dominant force in international cricket across formats. Their triumphant journey began when 'underdogs' Kapil Dev and Co. team defeated the mighty West Indies in the 1983 ODI World Cup. Having reached the finals of the World Test Championship (WTC) twice, the Men in Blue have enjoyed great success in the longer format of the game.

India's records across formats are impressive, including their five major international titles in limited-overs cricket. For the same reason, the Asian giant has been a consistent figure at the top of the Cricket Governing Body rankings. This great success is largely due to the quality players the team has produced over the years. Without further ado, let's take a look at the top three Indian players to be part of the most wins in international cricket.

"Sachin...Sachin" - the iconic chant still reverberates in the ears of millions. If anyone says that Sachin Tendulkar is more of an emotion than a player, it cannot be denied. The Master Blaster, who inspired many to take up the sport, has singlehandedly won numerous matches for his nation. Tendulkar, who retired from all formats in 2013, represented India in a total of 663 international matches. Breaking down the numbers, the right-hander's 307 wins have come in 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and 1 T20I.

#1. Virat Kohli - 313* wins

This Indian batting stalwart doesn't need an introduction. There may be many players who have been able to live up to Kohli's standards in one or two formats, but no one has yet been able to match his legacy in all formats. The 35-year-old has been the backbone of the Indian batting unit for more than a decade. Apart from Kohli's batting prowess, his captaincy has led India to great success in all three formats, especially in Test cricket. The right-hander has played 522 international matches (113 Tests, 292 ODIs, and 117 T20Is) and won 313 of them.
