Mayanti Langer is one of the famous sports presenters in India. She has a huge fan following and unfortunately, a significant amount of haters who troll her immensely. Talking about her profile, she made her debut as a presenter during the FIFA beach football 2010 and the Commonwealth Games in the same year. The next year, the 37-year-old hosted the ODI World Cup on ESPN and Star Sports.
Readers must have seen her mostly in the Indian T20 League. However, not many people know that she was rejected four times before hosting the shows related to the tournament. In 2011, she was rejected as 'she had just done the World Cup and the broadcaster needed a new face'. Meanwhile, she came over these setbacks and is now a renowned anchor.
A few years ago, a fan asked her out for dinner as he was mesmerized by her work.
“When I see you. I don’t mind watching ITL. You are a perfect blend of class & personality. I wish I was influential enough to take you dinner. I don’t have words to say how beautiful you are,” the person had commented.

Even though this story is more than four years old, the fun involved in this conversation can never get old. Currently, Mayanti returned to work during the Indian T20 League 2022 after almost a two-year hiatus. For the unversed, she became a mother in late 2020 and was taking care of her offspring.
Stuart, who is hugely known for his six-wicket haul against Bangladesh in 2014, announced his retirement from the game last year. The 38-year-old made his international debut in 2014 and played his last game in 2015. In this phase, the former all-rounder played six Tests, 14 ODIs, and three T20Is. His best figures of 4/6 in ODI helped India defend a low total against Bangladesh.
