England pacer James Anderson has played a record 178 Test after making his debut way back in 2003. Apart from him and his bowling partner, Stuart Broad, no pacer has played 150 or more Tests. Currently, the former is sitting on 682 Tests wickets and is only 26 away from Late Shane Warne’s 708. Also, he is only 22 games away from playing 200 Tests, only played by Sachin Tendulkar.

While in the future most of Anderson’s records in Test cricket might not be broken. There are many reasons for this. However, there is one player who carries the slightest of chances to break some of his records. India’s Jasprit Bumrah can break some of his records. In this listicle, we will have a look at three records that can be broken by Bumrah.

James Anderson’s three records that can be broken by Jasprit Bumrah

1. 250 wickets in 67 games

The England pacer completed his 250 wickets in just 67 games. In a Test match against Sri Lanka, Anderson took his 250th wicket. This record has never been broken by any bowler. However, Bumrah, with 128 wickets in 30 games, might be threatening to do so.

After all, his worst average is against New Zealand (47), although he has played only three games against them. As the readers might know, this can be improved. If the right-arm pacer, Bumrah can maintain his fitness, he might break the record.
