As a result, he will miss the 15th edition of the Indian T20 league. Today, we shall be taking a look at three bowlers who can replace Mark Wood in the 2022 edition for Lucknow.

1) Andrew Tye:

Andrew Tye won the Purple Cap in the 2018 edition. Although he hasn't featured in any international games of late, he could prove to be a superb replacement. Besides, Tye isn't a stranger to the toughest T20 league in the world.

In the 27 games he has played in the Indian T20 league, the Aussie has picked 40 wickets at an average of 21.8. He was absolutely sensational as a death bowler. Besides, he was bowling really well during the Big Bash 2021-22.

2) Dhawal Kulkarni:

Dhawal Kulkarni is a seasoned campaigner and has played a lot of games in this league. His experience can prove to be really handy for the KL Rahul-led side. He has picked 86 wickets in 92 games.

His USP is to bowl with the new ball. In fact, Kulkarni can bowl most of his overs in the start. This will ensure that the other strike bowlers are saved for the end. Besides, he's an Indian player and having him gives Lucknow the luxury to play another overseas batter.

3) Blessing Muzarabani:

Blessing Muzarabani has been really impressive in the shorter formats of the game. The Zimbabwe pacer has the ability to hit the deck hard. Despite being inexperienced, he has already shown glimpses of his immense potential.

Muzarabani has picked 25 wickets in 21 T20I games at an average of 26.12. He has an economy rate of 8, which is superb in this format of the game. Moreover, the 21-year-old did well in the PSL as well.
