Three changes Chennai need to do to get back to winning ways

Time is running out for them as every game is important. The defending champions need to make some changes in order to get back to the groove. Today, we shall be taking a look at three changes Chennai need to do to get back to winning ways.

1) Rajvardhan Hangargekar for Mukesh Choudhary:

Deepak Chahar's absence has significantly hurt Chennai. His unavailability has meant that they have to play with an uncapped Indian pacer. Mukesh Choudhary has been far from impressive.

His economy rate after playing three games is 10.52. On the other hand, Hangargekar is a talented lad, who showcased his skills during the U19 World Cup 2022. He can be Chennai's "X Factor".

2) Dwaine Pretorius for Maheesh Theekshana:

Dwaine Pretorius was superb in his first two games for Chennai. He picked four wickets in two games at an economy rate of 7.62. Besides, he can bowl during any situation of the game.

Moreover, he can be handy with the bat as well. Although Theekshana wasn't too bad during his debut, Chennai desperately need a good pacer. It is to be noted that they already have Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali as their spinners.

3) N Jagadeesan for Ambati Rayudu:

Ambati Rayudu has been an absolute champion for Chennai. Over the years, he has won several matches for the yellow army. However, he has been lukewarm in the 2022 edition.

The batter is yet to get to a score of 30 or more in this season. Besides, N Jagadeesan has been one of the most talented batters from Tamil Nadu. He is a superb player of spin as well.
