Ishan Kishan was also met by the 41-year-old, and they spoke briefly. Several members of the CSK team, such as Ravindra Jadeja and DJ Bravo, enjoyed interacting with the MI players during the practises. The CSK are in Mumbai for the game, which will be held at the venerable Wankhede Stadium, it should be mentioned.

Before the game, authorities of the Mumbai Cricket Association decided to felicitate the World Cup-winning captain in a special manner. They renamed a seat of the stands where Dhoni hit the final six to win the 2011 ODI World Cup final after the great Dhoni.

Sachin Tendulkar, a former legend of India and the Mumbai Indians, arrived at the Wankhede. In his conversation with the MI team, The Master Blaster offered their captain Rohit Sharma some insightful batting counsel.

MI, led by Rohit Sharma, lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in their season debut. The five-time IPL champions reached 171 runs thanks to the remarkable unbeaten 84-run performance by Tilak Varma. Nevertheless, the bowling misfired horribly as the exploits of Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli propelled RCB to a straightforward victory. The team is skilled at recovering from adversity and will endeavour to do so in the MI vs CSK match.

After losing to Gujarat Titans in the first game, the MS Dhoni-led squad came back at Chepauk and defeated Lucknow Super Giants by a score of 12 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad continued his remarkable form in IPL 2023 by scoring a second-half-century to help CSK reach a whopping 217.

The bowlers initially struggled and conceded extra runs, but they eventually managed to hold the LSG team to 205/7 and secure their first victory of the IPL 2023. Despite winning, the team's performance was far from perfect, and their shoddy bowling may have cost them in Wankhede.
