After a thumping series win of 3-0 in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, the men in blue took on New Zealand in the first of the three-match ODI series. Both teams played this match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first.

With this win in the first ODI, Rohit Sharma’s men have taken a lead of 1-0 in the three-match ODI series. Now, both teams will lock horns with each other in the second of the three-match ODI series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Saturday, 21^st of January.

Coming back to Shubman Gill, he is now the youngest batter to score an ODI double century among the batter who ever played the game in the history of ODI cricket.
