'Sudhar Jao Ganguly’- Fans react after journalist accuses BCCI official for misusing power

A prominent cricket journalist has put allegations against a BCCI official for misusing his power as he unnecessary interferes in affairs.

Sourav Ganguly has often been involved in controversies since taking up the position of the president of the Indian Cricket Board. A lot of people have put in allegation against him for misusing his power.

Earlier, a prominent cricket journalist put allegations for forcefully attending the Team India selection committee meetings. Later, his claim was backed by several members of the selection panel when they had publicly acknowledged that they indeed felt intimidated by Ganguly’s presence in the meeting room while they were picking the squad.

The same journalist has, once again, come hard on the former Indian skipper. In his recent Tweet, he alleged an Indian Cricket Board official for unnecessarily interfering in affairs of Indian T20 League and also insists on attending Indian T20 League governing council meetings. In both his Tweets, he didn’t mention the name of the culprit, however, it isn’t too tough to know who that person is.

“Earlier a BCCI official was unnecessarily interfering with affairs of team selection & insisting on attending selection committee meetings. These days, this official interferes in affairs of IPL & insists on attending IPL governing council meetings. Why? Such a major conflict!” the journalist, working with a leading English daily, wrote on the micro-blogging site.

For the unversed, it’s important to know that the Indian Cricket Body’s president has no say in the Indian T20 League governing council meetings.

It’s true that the Indian T20 League is a product of India’s cricketing board but they have made a separate Governing Council, which is headed by Brijesh Patel. The body is responsible for making the crucial decisions regarding the Indian T20 League.

The fans on the social media is pretty convinced that the journalist is talking about no other than Sourav Ganguly. In a bid to take a dig at the former Indian skipper, lots of them replied to the Tweet and didn’t shy away to reveal the name.
