Step by Step guide on how to book tickets for Indian T20 League

The 15th edition of the Indian T20 league is all set to start on March 26. As this league is equivalent to a festival, fans eagerly await it every year. This season promises to be better as fans will be allowed to watch the games from the stadium.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament saw most of its games being played behind closed doors in the last two seasons. However, all the games this time around will see fans cheering for their favourite teams and players on the ground. It is to be noted that the league stage of the 2022 edition will be played across four stadiums in Maharashtra, them being the Wankhede Stadium, the Brabourne Stadium, the DY Patil Stadium as well as the MCA Stadium. Here's how to buy tickets for the Indian T20 League.

Step 1: Visit the official website and find the "Buy Tickets" option

First things first, one needs to log in to the official website of the Indian T20 league i.e www.iplt20.com. On doing so, the fan can then click on the "Buy Tickets" option, which is situated at the orange coloured bar.

Step 2: Check the required filters to make a selection

After finishing the first step, one needs to take a look at all the filters and see which is their preferred one. All these filters are based on dates, price, venues etc. This helps the fans get a better idea of the ideal game to book.

Step 3: Select the match for which you want to but the tickets

After checking out the various filters, select the game you want to go and watch. Before doing so, confirm the dates.

Step 4: Click on the "Book" button when finalized

In order to start the actual process of booking, the fans need to click on the book icon. This will then take them to a new page, where they can continue the booking process.

Step 5: Log in with your email id or contact number to proceed

Step five includes logging in with your existing email id or contact number. If one logs in with their email id card, then they need to ensure they remember the password. As far as a contact number is concerned, they might receive an OPT number to check if it is indeed the same person.

Step 6: Select the number of tickets you want to purchase

One needs to select the number of tickets they want. The maximum number one can select at a time are four. The number option would come on their screen.

Step 7: Select the stand and the block

After step six, the next step includes an image of the stadium, with different colours for different stands. Fans have to then select their preferred stand and block.

Step 8: Select the price range

Step eight consists of the fan selecting their price range. There will be a wide variety of options to choose from.

Step 9: Select the seats

One has to then select the seats. These seats are where the particular fan will be sitting during the game.

Step 10: Confirm the pickup option

After booking the seats, the pickup option needs to be verified. This step includes specifying the pickup information.

Step 11: Complete the payment

The last step includes payment completion. Over here, one can choose the payment option they want in order to pay the money to book the ticket. Some of the options include credit card, debit card and UPI.
