Both Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav were in action on 9 May 2023 as Mumbai Indians (MI) took on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing IPL at Wankhede Stadium. MI won the match convincingly and Yadav was the Player of the Match. He smashed 83 runs off just 35 balls, including seven fours and six sixes while chasing 200 runs.

Now, an image has gone viral where both these MI players were seen in a nevers een avatar from an advertisement. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. Meanwhile, after this victory, MI are in the third position with RCB slipping to the seventh position.

Suryakumar Yadav had a poor start to the tournament. But, in the last six matches, the MI batter has enjoyed his form. He has notched up four fifties in the last six innings and MI fans are quite relieved now to see him scoring such quickfire runs once again. 

After winning the Player of the Match award against RCB, Yadav said: “Your practice has to be the same what you intend to do in matches. I know where my runs are. We have open net sessions. I know my game. I don't do anything different. Much needed from team's point of view. I am very happy to win a home game like this. I mean they come up with a plan. They tried to make me hit to the bigger part. Take the pace off and bowl slow. I said Nehal let's hit it hard and hit it into the gaps and run hard.”

MI skipper Rohit Sharma said: "I have no idea what a safe score is. The last four games we have seen excess of 200 has been scored. Most of the teams are taking risks and it is coming off. The batters are taking risks and 200 plus scores are being chased. The mindset of the batters is to do something special for the team and it is coming off as well."
