Seven players who were dropped by Bangalore after one game in Indian T20 league

Bangalore are one of the most celebrated teams in the Indian T20 league. Over the years, several superstars have played for this franchise. However, there have been a few talented players who have played for this team, but weren't given a long rope.  As a matter of fact, there are a few players who were dropped after playing just one game for the 2016-finalists. Today, we shall be taking a look at seven players who were dropped by Bangalore after just one game in the Indian T20 league.

1) Tim David:

Tim David recently grabbed the headlines as he bagged a lucrative contract worth INR 8.25 with Mumbai. Besides, he's been in superb form of late. However, he represented Bangalore during the second phase of the 2022 edition, but played just one match. He was dropped after scoring one run in his Indian T20 league debut.

2) Abdur Razzak:

Abdur Razzaq made his debut in the biggest T20 league during the inaugural edition in 2008. While playing for Bangalore, he went for 29 runs in two overs against Rajasthan. However, after that, he was simply dropped, and never played for the franchise again. In fact, his debut turned out to be his final game in this league.

3) Shadab Jakati:

Shadab Jakati was an integral member of Chennai for several years. He was a part of their title-winning campaign as well. However, after being picked up by Bangalore, he only played one game and was dropped from the XI. In the one game against his former team Chennai, he gave 41 runs in 3.4 overs.

4) Abhinav Mukund:

Abhinav Mukund is one of the veteran batters in the domestic circuit. When it comes to the Indian T20 league, he played one game for Bangalore, where he took 21 balls to score 19. Thus, he was subsequently dropped. The other franchise Mukund has played for is Chennai.

5) Prayas Ray Barman:

Despite being a teenager, Barman was given a chance to play a game for Bangalore. It was during the 2019 edition. However, he scored just 19 off 24 balls and failed to make an impact. This was against Hyderabad. He was dropped in the next game.

6) Karn Sharma:

Karn Sharma has had a fairly decent career in the toughest 20. However, before winning titles with Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai, he was initially with Bangalore. The leggie played a game for them in 2009, where he didn't even get a chance to bowl.

7) Sridharan Sriram:

Sriram is now a part of the coaching staff for several high-profile teams. However, he too once played for the Bangalore-based franchise. In a game, he opened the innings alongside the legendary Jacques Kallis and scored 27 runs from 29 balls. However, he didn't get any further opportunity to don the Bangalore jersey
