Day five of the second Test between India and West Indies got washed off due to rain as the match ended in a draw. Thus, India won the series 1-0 but both teams gathered four points each after this draw. After the match, the Team India skipper, Rohit Sharma shared a witty tweet regarding rain.
He wrote: “Mumbai ya Trinidad” with two emojis. It seemed to be a hilarious tweet as every year, heavy rain occurs in Mumbai also. Speaking of the match, India batted first and scored 438 runs. In reply, the Windies got bundled out for 255 runs and the Men in Blue gathered a lead of 183 runs.

Then, India declared their second innings after scoring 181 runs for two wickets and set a 365-run target for the home side. But, by the end of day four, they managed to score 76 runs for two wickets. Mohammed Siraj won the Player of the Match award. After that match got washed off, Rohit said: “Every win is different. Playing in West Indies or in India has its own challenge. I am very happy how things went here.”
