Robin Uthappa’s son looks match ready ahead of Rajasthan Royals encounter

Uthappa is a proven opener and can be an asset for CSK

Chennai Super Kings will be mighty pleased with their performance against Punjab Kings. The ‘yellow army’ decimated Punjab Kings and cruised to victory by 6 wickets in their last game. They’re set to lock horns against Rajasthan Royals today and will be keen to continue their winning run. Ruturaj Gaikwad hasn’t looked in the best of form thus there are high chances that MS Dhoni will swap him with CSK’s latest recruit, Robin Uthappa. Uthappa is a proven opener and can be an asset for CSK at the top.

Ahead of their match, the Chennai Super Kings shared an adorable picture of Robin Uthappa’s son Neale Nolan Uthappa in the yellow jersey. In the picture, Junior Uthappa is padded up and looks all set to play the ball. Along with the snap, the Chennai-based franchise wrote on Twitter, “Junior Cub Nolan ku #WhistlePodu #Yellove.”

Chennai Super Kings got off to a poor start as they were thrashed by Delhi Capitals in their tournament opener. However, they bounced back in style and blew away the Punjab Kings. Deepak Chahar led the charge as Chennai restricted KL Rahul’s men to a paltry 106 before chasing it down without breaking a sweat. Apart from Uthappa, Lungi Ngidi can also find a place in the playing XI after completing his quarantine. Chennai Super Kings have a great record against Rajasthan Royals and have won 14 off the 23 games they’ve played. Rajasthan have managed to win the remaining 9 games.
