Suresh Raina was recently seen as one of the commentators for JioCinema in the recently concluded IPL season. However, it was a good end to the tournament for a former CSK player like him as MS Dhoni and his men managed to win their fifth title after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. But, now on 5 June 2023, Raina came up with a happy birthday tweet for Yogi Adityanath and seeing that, fans went crazy. 

They shared their views on social media also. Speaking of the tweet, Raina wrote: “Wishing a very happy birthday to the dynamic leader @myogiadityanath Ji Your unwavering dedication towards the development and progress of our nation is truly inspiring. May you continue to lead with strength, wisdom, and compassion #YogiAdityanath.” In reply, Yogi Ji also replied: “Thank you for your affectionate wishes!”

Speaking about Raina, he heaped high praises for Ravindra Jadeja after he hit 10 runs off the last two balls to win the final for CSK. While speaking on JioCinema, Raina said: “I am very happy that Ravindra Jadeja got to hit the winning shot. The way he has been wanting to help the team to wins, hitting a six and a four after amazing dot balls from Mohit Sharma. I think this was sensational. You could see MS Dhoni hugging Jadeja in the dressing room. This is a massive moment, all of India was cheering them on. JioCinema was covering them, even the ground was yellow. Ravindra Jadeja has done something only sir Ravi Jadeja would!”

Raina also shared a tweet to congratulate CSK on their victory. He wrote: “So so proud to have been part of this one giant family called CSK! The victory is a culmination of a splendid journey. Many more to come. #GTvsCSK.”
