Chennai-based Indian T20 League franchise has retained the senior Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for the next edition of the Indian T20 League. Notably, the Indian cricketing circles were filled with discussions and debates about the alleged rifts between the multi-time champion franchise and the 33-year-old veteran all-rounder.

Amidst the rumors and speculations of rifts, there came the news earlier this month that the Chennai skipper MS Dhoni does not want Jadeja to go out of the squad of his team. Now, the management has officially confirmed the retention of the veteran of 210 Indian T20 League matches for the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League.

Subsequently, Ravindra Jadeja himself has reacted to this latest development in his relations with the Chennai team. The Saurashtra-born all-rounder took to his official Twitter handle for reacting to this official confirmation from Chennai.

“Everything is fine💛 #RESTART,” reads the tweet posted by Ravindra Jadeja on his official Twitter handle.

Here’s how Ravindra Jadeja reacted:

Notably, Jadeja was appointed as the captain of Chennai at the beginning of the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League after Dhoni stepped down from the role. But the team could win only two matches out of the eight they played under Jadeja’s captaincy. Reacting to the situation further, Jadeja handed over the captaincy once again to MS Dhoni and continued as a player with the team.

But later on, Jadeja couldn’t play in some of the matches of the Indian T20 League which led to rumors and speculations of the reported rifts between him and Chennai.

Although now everything is looking fine between the 2013 Champions Trophy winner Indian all-rounder and MS Dhoni-led Chennai.

Apart from the Indian T20 League, Jadeja was also out of international cricket as he sustained a knee injury during the Asia Cup 2022. Furthermore, he was ruled out of the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
