'Ram Pothineni ka bhi accident hua hai kya?' - Fans slam Urvashi Rautela for wishing Rishabh Pant speedy recovery

Ever since Rishabh Pant met with an accident in the early hours on December 30, Friday, fans and cricketers have been pouring in their love for the batter and wishing him a speedy recovery. Much to the surprise of the Indian fans, Urvashi Rautela, the Bollywood actress, joined the millions in wishing the batter well.

To comment more, the actress and the Indian star used to have a war of words on social media and this comes on the back of Rautela’s interview with Bollywood Hungama where she claimed that a guy named ‘RP’ waited a whole night to date her. Soon after, Pant hit back by saying that it was all to grab attention and it escalated things further. 

Rautela took to Instagram on Friday to wish the batter, although the actress refrained from taking Pant’s name directly, yet again. Fans were able to relate to Pant’s accident and said that the wish was for none but the Indian wicketkeeper. The doctors clarified that Pant suffered no major injuries although the Indian cricket board released a statement claiming that the player sustained a ligament tear in his leg.

Fans hit back at Urvashi Rautela for wishing Rishabh Pant

Fans, on the other hand, hit back at the actress claiming that she was the one responsible for the accident, although one has to agree that she had no role to play whatsoever in the incident. Fans were keen on slamming her for all her attention-grabbing antics and notably, Rautela has been taking an indirect dig at the Indian southpaw as and when possible.

With the 50-over World Cup set to take place in 2023, the unfortunate incident has put Pant’s career on pause, although one has to agree that the batter has all it takes to make a stunning comeback from the worst phase. Fans recollected the Indian star’s innings at Gabba during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played in 2020/21 and said that Pant must make a comeback at the earliest.
