The Asia Cup 2023 is still in jeopardy as the Indian Cricket Board are adamant that they will not visit Pakistan for the tournament. As per reports, PCB proposed a hybrid model to India where the Men in Blue will play their matches in a neutral country and other matches will take place in Pakistan. But, the Indian Cricket Board have not accepted it.

Even, reports have come out that the tournament might get cancelled and the Indian Cricket Board might organise a five-nation tournament in India. So, there is full confusion so far among fans over this whole tournament. Now, regarding that, the Pakistan pacer, Junaid Khan slammed India over their stance.

“Pakistan was the world’s number one team and is still among the top three teams” – Junaid Khan

In a recent interaction, Junaid said: “The situation in Pakistan is good. If other teams are coming, such as Australia, England, South Africa, and New Zealand, and they have no security problems, then why does India have a problem? What is the reason for this? Are they Aliens from another world who have security problems? “

“The Apex Council of Cricket should look into these issues; otherwise, cricket without Pakistan is impossible. Pakistan is not a small team; just a few days ago, Pakistan was the world’s number one team and is still among the top three teams,” he concluded.

Listening such comments fans seemed that the Pakistan pacer took a dig at the Indian Cricket Board for their stance on the whole matter. So, fans came up and trolled him on social media. As per recent reports, the whole tournament might get cancelled or played at a completely neutral venue. UAE can be an option where all the matches can be played despite Pakistan having the hosting rights. Speaking about Junaid Khan, he has played 107 international matches so far for Pakistan across all three formats. However, he last played for them in 2019.
