The 2023 ODI World Cup schedule, which will take place in India, has been released. Let us inform you that the competition will begin on October 5 and end on November 19 with the final game. Ten teams will compete in the tournament over the course of 42 days on ten different sites. On October 8, the Indian squad will face Australia in its inaugural game. The stadiums that will have the opportunity to host this great event this time have been announced along with the release for the ODI World Cup 2023 schedule. For a major event like the World Cup, the Indian Cricket Board has picked a total of 10 stadiums, in addition to the two stadiums which will host the warm-up games for the 10 nations.

The Indian Cricket Board is going to grant each of these 10 venues Rs 50 crore in order to upgrade their infrastructure. However, the Mohali Stadium in Punjab has not been a part of this massive event thanks to Jay Shah as well as the Indian Cricket Board. The Punjab Cricket Association additionally started a counterattack on the board and responded forcefully.

Media sources state that the World Cup stadium will receive Rs 50 crore for improving the facilities before the major event. For the 10 World Cup stadiums, the Indian Cricket Board has set aside more than Rs 500 crore. 

According to current reports, there are new floodlights as well as corporate booths in Mumbai, a new surface in Lucknow, renovated changing rooms in Kolkata, a new outfield containing imported grass for Dharamshala, a new interim roof in Pune, an enhanced system for ticketing and better lavatory amenities. 

HPCA member Arun Dhumal spoke about the renovations made to the iconic Dharamshala stadium. He said, “We renovated the entire surface of the stadium and we also did a makeover of the VVIP and hospitality boxes. We hired experts for this. We wanted to make sure we had to.Good drainage facility and we got grass from abroad. We changed some seats, painted the stands. There was a leakage problem, we have fixed that too.”
