Virat Kohli is more than just a cricketer or a celebrity in India. Over the years, the batting genius has made his way into the hearts of billions of Indians. Once again, another classic Kohli incident has surfaced where the batter’s image appeared on an English question paper for the ninth standard. The questions asked for an image description, and the picture was of Virat Kohli’s hundred against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022.
Since regaining his form, Virat Kohli has constantly been scoring runs. His most recent century came in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, ending his century drought in all three formats of the game. The top Indian batter has high aspirations for the upcoming season of the prestigious Indian T20 League by declaring that his “best is yet to come.”
Virat Kohli shared his aspirations for the upcoming Indian T20 League 2023
The 34-year-old said, ” my best is yet to come, which hopefully happens in the ITL 2023. If I can get to the level that I really want to, then it’ll help the team”. Last year, Virat Kohli recorded the top score of 73 while scoring 341 runs in 16 games at an average of 22.73 and a strike rate of 115.99.
Recently, Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, announced the launch of a joint non-profit initiative called SeVVA. The couple announced their decision in a statement, noting that its work will not be “limited to a particular topic.”
The joint statement read, “In the words of Kahlil Gibran ‘, For in truth it is life that gives unto life- while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness’. With this sentiment in mind, we have decided to work together through SeVVA, aiming to reach out to as many people as possible. SeVVA’s work won’t be confined to a particular issue as it will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today.”
