Virat Kohli recently played the three-match ODI series against Australia at home. However, he managed only one fifty in three matches and failed to score big for his team. India also lost the series by 2-1 against the Aussies. Now, on 23 March, news came out that Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma have launched a non-profit initiative named ‘seVVA’ to help people in need.

Anushka Sharma foundation and Virat Kohli foundation got merged for this holy cause and it will look to help people in need. The star couple also stated that this initiative will help to serve the humanity in their hour of need. Seeing such an initiative, fans came up and shared their views on the social media platform.

According to the statement quoted Khalil Gibran’s words as they said, “For in truth it is life that gives unto life - while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness. SeVVA’s work won’t be confined to a particular issue as it will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today.” However, it will not be the first time that these two well-known celebrities are getting engaged in such activities. Virat Kohli provides scholarships to sportspersons through Athlete Development Program (ADP).

Speaking about the former team India skipper, Virat Kohli will be seen in action for the Bangalore franchise in the Indian T20 League 2023. While Anushka is currently busy shooting for her ‘Chakda Xpress’ movie. Meanwhile, fans will look for a better performance from the star batter this time around in the tournament. In the last edition, he scored just 341 runs in 16 matches, at an average of 22.73.
