Akram said: "If you give me love, I will love you back ten times more but if you're rude to me, I'll be twenty times more rude to you. I'm not going to sit back and take rudeness because I'm successful and not scared of anyone." Speaking about his illustrative career, he was a part of Pakistan’s 1992 ODI World Cup squad.

“You need characters, you need a bit of rivalry and I am all for it.” - Wasim Akram on Mohammad Amir

Wasim Akram played 104 Tests and grabbed 414 wickets. On the other hand, he played 356 ODIs and took 502 wickets. Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir has made headlines in the ongoing PSL while playing for Karachi Kings for his behavior. While speaking to the digital portal, Akram said: "I think we have too much time on our hands. You need characters, you need a bit of rivalry and I am all for it. I am all for Amir, the way he has been saying stuff as a bowler. "What's the point of going into the PSL game, or any game, and shaking hands with the batter and hugging them?"

"Ok, before the game or after the game, I am all for it but during the game, be professional these little words off the field also add spice to PSL that's the beauty of PSL. We should enjoy it instead of criticising individually and consistently," Wasim Akram concluded. But, hearing such comments, fans were not happy and they slammed the former pacer on Twitter.
