On 19 March 2023, team India will lock horns with Australia for the second game of the ongoing three-match ODI series. After winning the series opener, the Men in Blue will look for another win to seal the series. However, Rohit Sharma will be back in action in the match as skipper. He missed the first match for attending the marriage of his brother-in-law.

Many videos and images were gone viral where Rohit Sharma was seen dancing with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. Now, a video has gone viral where Rohit was seen proposing to a fan with a rose. The video seemed to be from an airport where Rohit was seen coming with a rose in his hand. Then, he gave that to a fan and asked ‘Will you marry me?’.

Here is the shared video:

Really happy to win this series and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.” - Rohit Sharma

Listening to that, fans went crazy and shared their funny tweets on the social media platform. Fans made more fun of it as he proposed to a guy, not a girl. However, it is still unclear whether that video is from the past or just ahead of this second ODI between teams India and Australia. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was happy with the performance of the team when they defeated Australia in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He claimed that the team put up a solid performance despite missing important players.

While speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Rohit Sharma said: “Really happy to win this series and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It was hard-fought series with lots of ebbs and flows, but we were able to come up trumps even with a couple of key players missing from our squad. So, really pleased with the performance."

"We have been able to come up with answers to most questions at just the right time. I am proud of our performance in Delhi. We were behind in that match but came back really strong to surge ahead on a tricky wicket. We were then put to the test in Indore and could not quite stand up to the pressure applied on us. Well, Test cricket is never easy and we understand the demands of it. We try out best to meet the standards every single time," Rohit further added.
