‘Nibba giri bandh kar!’ - Prithvi Shaw's cryptic Instagram story about 'love' and 'loyalty' goes viral

Prithvi Shaw made headlines recently when some fans attacked him and his friends outside of a hotel in Mumbai. However, Shaw's friend Ashish Surendra Yadav made a complaint. Even, a video went viral where Shaw was seen in a heated exchange with the girl. Later, it got confirmed that it was the Bhojpuri actress, Sapna Gill.

Other accused people were Sana Alias and Shobhit Thakur. As per complaints, the Police also arrested Sapna Gill but later, she got bail. After that, she came up with a molestation case against Shaw as she accused him of outraging her modesty. But, as of now, nothing has been confirmed as the Police have not arrested the star cricketer.

However, on 9 March 2023, Prithvi Shaw shared a cryptic story on his official Instagram account. The post reads: “Some people will only “love you” as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop.” Seeing such a post, fans were left suspicious and they came up with their views on social media. Speaking about Prithvi Shaw, he finally got a chance in team India’s squad when they took on the recently concluded home T20I series against the Kiwis. 

But. he failed to get any chance in three matches. The Mumbai batter also bagged nine awards at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) award ceremony. Prithvi shared the news on Instagram and wrote: "I just want people to feel like they can achieve something great in their lives. We all go through rough times. You’ve got to believe in yourself. And if you believe, you will achieve it."     

As of now, Shaw has played 12 matches for India across all three formats. In those matches, he scored 528 runs, including one century and two fifties. He last played a game for the Men in Blue in 2021.
