Prithvi Shaw made headlines on 15 February 2023 when he got attacked by some fans outside of a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Shaw's friend Ashish Surendra Yadav made a complaint and according to that, those people attacked the car with baseball nets. Later, videos also went viral where Prithvi Shaw was seen in a heated exchange with a girl.

It got confirmed that the girl was the Bhojpuri actress, Sapna Gill. Other accused people were Sana Alias and Shobhit Thakur. After that, Yadav went to file a complaint at Oshiwara Police Station. Police arrested Sapna Gill last week in connection with an attack on Prithvi Shaw. But, on 20 February, she got bail and now, Ms. Gill has come up with a criminal complaint against Shaw alleging molestation. 

Misery continues for Prithvi Shaw after the allegation from Sapna Gill

At a Mumbai Police station, social media influencer Sapna Gill has filed a complaint against Shaw. She accused him of outraging her modesty. Her advocate Kaashif Ali Khan filed the application at the Airport police station in Andheri. According to her application, she and her friend, Shobhit Thakur are regular visitors at the upmarket club. There, she saw Prithvi Shaw partying hard and drunk.

The application reads: "Thakur, who is just a teenager, was unaware of the brutality of the drunken mob. Thakur was helpless and was unable to defend himself. Hence, she (Gill) intervened and entered the fray trying to stop Shaw and others from further harming and injuring Thakur." However, police arrested both of them on 16 and 18 February respectively.

Speaking of the incident, both of them came for a selfie and Shaw gave them the selfie. After that, again those accused people returned for another set of selfies. But, the Mumbai batter refused. Prithvi Shaw said that he came to have food with his friends. Therefore, he does not want to get disturbed. Still, those people were insisting, and hence, Shaw’s friend called the manager of the hotel and complained about them.
