On 20 May 2023, Delhi Capitals (DC) took on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing IPL in Delhi. Speaking of the match, MS Dhoni won the toss and they opted to bat first. However, it was a crucial match for them while the home side were looking to spoil the party for MS Dhoni and his men.

While batting first, CSK scored 223 runs for three wickets in 20 overs. But, during the chase, DC skipper David Warner got involved in a funny banter with Ravindra Jadeja. Warner was seen doing the famous ‘Sword celebration’ and seeing that, Jadeja himself could not stop laughing. Fans also loved it and shared their views on social media.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the fifth over of DC’s innings. Warner was batting with Phil Salt while Deepak Chahar was bowling. On the third delivery of that over, Warner went for a quick single and made it with a full-stretched dive. The throw was wide enough and then, the DC skipper was seen tempting the fielder (Ajinkya Rahane) for a throw. After that, Rahane threw and Jadeja picked up the ball. Then, Warner had a stare with Jadeja and did Jadeja’s famous ‘Sword celebration’. 

Seeing that both of them broke out into a smile soon after. Speaking of the match, CSK smashed 223 runs in 20 overs for three wickets. Devon Conway scored 87 runs off 52 balls while Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 79 runs off 50 balls. Then, Shivam Dube scored 22 runs off nine balls while Jadeja scored 20* runs off seven balls. Then, in the chase, Warner had a great start. After 13 overs, DC were at 107 runs for four wickets as Warner was batting on 70* runs off 43 balls along with Axar Patel. However, Jadeja had a forgettable day with the ball as he took just one wicket for 50 runs in four overs.
