Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently in the second spot with 15 points in 13 games. In the last game of the group stage, they will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in Delhi. Now, ahead of that clash, an image has gone viral where the CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and his wife were seen meeting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Seeing that image, fans shared some funny replies on social media. Speaking about his form, Jadeja has been enjoying a good season so far, especially with the ball. In IPL 2023 so far, he has taken 16 wickets along with scoring 133 runs in 13 games. So, another huge contribution is expected from this star player against DC.

Ravindra Jadeja also shared the image on Twitter with a caption: “It was great meeting you @narendramodi saheb You are a prime example of hardwork & dedication for our motherland! I'm sure you will continue to inspire everyone in the best way possible.” However, this is not the first time when Jadeja met with Narendra Modi. He met with the Indian PM during the fourth BGT Test clash between India and Australia in Ahmedabad. Then, he shared the image with a caption: “Much needed appreciation from prime minister @narendramodi sir.”            

Meanwhile, his wife is a major part of the BJP party. Rivaba Jadeja was given a ticket to contest the Gujarat Assembly election by the BJP and she won from the Jamnagar North seat. So, it was no surprise to see her with him while meeting the Indian PM. However, in the reverse fixture against DC, Jadeja was the Player of the Match. In that match, CSK batted first and scored 167 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, DC scored 140 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 27 runs. Jadeja took one wicket with the ball while scoring 21 runs off 16 balls.
