Well, it’s not the first time when a cricketer has mimicked Allu Arjun's style from the superhit movie 'Pushpa', after picking a wicket. Earlier, players like Ravindra Jadeja, David Warner, Obed McCoy etc. were also were seen doing a ‘Pushpa celebration’ in the Indian T20 League 2022.

The International Cricket Board also took to their social media handle and shared the video. "It's gone so far on social media. Nepal's Sita Rana Magar with the most popular celebration currently," ICC wrote as caption.

For the unversed, the FairBreak Invitational Tournament is an innovative women's cricket tournament grouping established stars with emerging-nation players. The purpose of conducting such a tournament is only to promote the sport worldwide and express interest.

There’s no denying that Women’s cricket has seen a sharp rise in its popularity in recent years. The final of the 20-20 Women’s World Cup in 2020 saw an attendance of a record 86,000 people at Melbourne Cricket Ground. It is fair to say that the Covid-19 Pandemic has halted the progress to some extent. But a successful World Cup in New Zealand this year should inspire a lot of confidence.

For the unversed, Australia won the World Cup after beating England in the final. Australia remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. 7 wins in 7 matches meant Australia finished the league stage at number one position. They won the title after beating West Indies and England in the semi-final and final respectively.
