In the ongoing 54th game of the IPL 2023 between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, MI's Nehal Wadhera has dented a car. Apparently, it was supposed to be awarded to one of the players. However, thanks to Wadhera's six, the money generated from the auction will be given to the welfare of the coffee plantation, as per the norm.

The incident happened in the 11th over of the second innings bowled by Wanindu Hasaranga. On the fourth ball of the ball, the left-hander played a slog sweep. The vehicle, which was on display at the deep midwicket area of the left-hander, got hit. The connection was so good that the ball went flat into the front door's locking area.

Nehal Wadhera and Suryakumar Yadav give dents to RCB bowlers too

Meanwhile, the uncapped Indian player, Wadhera didn't just dented the car. He, alongside Suryakumar Yadav, gave massive dents to the RCB bowlers in front of the Mumbai crowd. In the game, the five-time winner, MI won the toss and elected to bowl first. They had a great start as Jason Behrendorff took the wickets of Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat early.

At 16/2, the likes of Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell put together 120 runs in 10.1 overs. Both players scored half-centuries each. However, after they got out, and the fall of Mahipal Lomror reduced their scoring rate. Impact Sub, Kedar Jadhav and wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik failed to take the team past the 200-run mark. RCB ended with only 199/6 at the end of the innings.

In reply, MI opener, Ishan Kishan (42) provided an explosive start. Not to forget, he has been inducted into the Indian team for the Test Championship final next month. Meanwhile, Hasaranga took two wickets in the fifth over. At 52/2, the likes of Wadhera and Surya smashed 140 runs in 66 balls. The former champions ended up winning the game by six wickets and 3.3 overs to spare.

The Blue Brigade returned the favor to RCB as the Red Army pretty much did the same against MI early this season.
