However, in a major relief, all the other players in the team have returned with negative Tests. They have currently quarantined themselves in their respective rooms. As per reports, door-to-door testing for all the players will be done on Monday and Tuesday.

Delhi’s next fixture is on Wednesday. As of now, India's cricketing governing haven’t taken any call on whether to postpone the game or not. The franchise, however, have cancelled the scheduled travel to Pune, which means that it is unlikely that the game will be played on Wednesday.

Earlier, Delhi’s team physio Patrick Farhart was tested positive for the virus and had been told to isolate himself. Delhi are slated to play two back to back games on 20th and 22nd April. As of now, it is uncertain whether the Board will make a change in the schedule or not.

The franchise hasn’t stated anything on the matter. However, the cricketing board is in the process of making a plan so that the virus doesn’t spread among other teams.

Delhi are currently languishing at third from the bottom of the points table. In 5 matches, they have only managed to win two games. Delhi suffered a 16-run defeat at the hands of Bangalore in their last game. Bangalore batted first in that encounter and notched 189 runs in the first innings.

In reply, Delhi were restricted to 173 runs in the second innings. David Warner played an outstanding knock of 66 runs in 38 balls, while Rishabh Pant smashed 34 off 17 deliveries. However, the other batsmen failed to deliver and Delhi, thus, had to suffer its third defeat of the season.
