Recently, the 26-year-old J&K pacer Auqib Nabi is hitting the headlines of the Indian cricketing circle before the mini-auction for the Indian T20 League 2023. An Indian sports journalist Mohsin Kamal, in his recent tweet has recently given a shout-out to this young prospect from the state of J&K.

To all #IPL franchises: if you want a fast-bowling all-rounder, Auqib Nabi from J&K is the best you could get! He swings the new ball, can hit the deck hard, and bowl those cutters, bouncers, and yorkers! And with the bat, he can hit a long ball! Here’s a glimpse of him ⤵️#IPL2023,” wrote Kamal in his tweet with a video showcasing Auqib’s brilliant bowling and batting in domestic cricket.

Following the arrival of this news about the young pace-bowling all-rounder, Indian cricket fans are excited, and they went on to appeal to some of the Indian T20 League franchises to pick the latter.

Speaking of Auqib’s domestic career, he made his first List-A appearance for J&K four years back in the year 2018. Since then, he has played 15 List-A matches, 10 First-Class matches, and 17T20s. Since then, Nabi has scalped a total of 67 wickets in the Indian domestic circuit.

Apart from his bowling, he has also scored 534 runs with the bat in domestic cricket. Nabi’s most recent appearance for J&K was in the List-A match of the Vijay Hazare trophy yesterday on the 15th of November against Nagaland. In this match, he scored unbeaten 15 runs off nine balls with the bat followed by one wicky at the cost of 31 runs in eight overs with the ball.
