India took on Australia on 19 March 2023 in Vizag for the second game of the ongoing three-match ODI series. They came to the clash after winning the series opener by five wickets. So, the home side were looking to seal the series by winning the game while the Aussies were looking for a win to level the series.

However, Rohit Sharma made a comeback in the team after missing out in the first ODI. He came in place of Ishan Kishan and Axar Patel came in place of Shardul Thakur. On the other hand, Alex Carey came in for Josh Inglis and Nathan Ellis came in for Glenn Maxwell for the Aussies. At the toss, Steve Smith won the toss and asked team India to bat first.

India suffered a 10-wicket loss in the second ODI against the Aussies

For the home side, the skipper Rohit Sharma came along with Shubman Gill for opening the innings. But, Mitchell Starc was on song as he produced some fiery stuff with the ball. India batters were absolutely clueless against the Australian pacers as they got bundled out for 117 runs in 26 overs. Starc took five wickets for 53 runs in eight overs while Ellis took two wickets and Abbott took three wickets. For India, Virat Kohli was the highest scorer with 31 runs off 35 balls, including four boundaries.

In reply, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh came out to open and thrashed all Indian bowlers all over the park. They chased down the target in just 11 overs and secured a 10-wicket win over Rohit Sharma and his men in Vizag. Marsh scored 66* runs off 36 balls while Head scored 51* runs off 30 balls. Starc won the player of the match award for his exceptional bowling performance. But, fans were not happy and they started to troll the Men in Blue with some hilarious memes on social media.
