In a major boost for Delhi, both Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert have recovered from Covid-19. Delhi welcomed the duo to their camp on Wednesday. For the unversed, the duo was contracted with Covid-19 last week. However, they have returned with negative results and have completed their mandatory quarantine.
Ahead of the next game against Mumbai, both Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert were seen training with the franchise. Delhi also took to its social media handle to share the good news.
"We are feeling Good. Great to have you back at the training, boys," DC said in a social media post.

Tim Seifert might not play the next game but Mitchell Marsh is likely to be added to the playing 11 against Kolkata. His inclusion will strengthen the batting unit. Delhi are currently struggling in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2022.β
Rishabh Pant and Co. are languishing at the seventh position in the points table. In 7 matches, they have only managed to win three games thus far. In their last four matches, they have won and lost two games each.
The bowling unit failed to hit the straps in the last game. Jos Buttler wreaked havoc with the bat and helped Rajasthan reach a mammoth score of 222 runs in the first innings. Delhi too fought hard with the bat. The likes of Shaw, Warner, Pant, etc all got starts but failed to convert those into big scores. In the end, they fell 15 runs short of the target.
For Delhi to remain in the race for the playoffs, they ought to exhibit better performances both with the bat and ball. Rishabh Pant are slated to play their next game against Kolkata on Thursday at Wankhede Stadium.
