The cricketing world’s biggest rivalry took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne between two South Asian giants and arch-rivals India and Pakistan. Both teams locked horns for the 14th time in either of the World Cups. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Babar’s men to bat first at the turf of MCG in this high-octane encounter.
Batting first, the men in green posted a decent total of 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
