Speaking of the Cuttack ODI between India and England, both teams played this match exactly four years ago on the 19th of January in 2019. The then-England skipper Eoin Morgan won the flip of the coin and asked the men in blue to bat first. The hosts’ top order failed miserably against the English bowling attack. But then came the partnership of 256 runs between Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni as the latter also played a brilliant knock of 134 runs off 122 balls with 10 boundaries and six sixes to his name. Riding on the vintage batting display from Yuvraj and Dhoni, India posted a total of 381 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

While chasing the target, the three lions also batted brilliantly but the century of 102 runs from skipper Eoin Morgan went in vain as England could score only 366 runs for the loss of eight wickets after the 50 overs and lost the match by 15 runs.
