Team India is all set to play a multi-format tour of the West Indies following a short off-season after their disappointing display in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2021-23. Team India were thrashed by Australia by 209 runs at the Oval, the last time the team was active in a competitive game. They would like to shake off their defeat and turn their heads toward the next challenge – the tour of the West Indies.
The two teams will contest in two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is. A few of the T20Is will also take place in Florida, making it a tour of the West Indies and the USA. The first Test between India and West Indies is scheduled to begin on July 12
India’s tour of the West Indies kickstarts on July 12 with the first Test being played at Windsor Park Dominica. The Indian squad will train at Kensington Oval until they are privately chartered to Dominica before the Test Series, according to a Cricket West Indies (CWI) official. The West Indies team will set up camp at the Coolidge Cricket Ground's High-Performance Centre in the meantime. Prior to the Test, they will then go to Dominica.
