The young Indian opener Prithvi Shaw is once again in the headlines of social media for his recent new year 2023 celebration. The 23-year-old celebrated the arrival of the new year at a pub, most probably based in Mumbai. He went on share the pics of the celebration through his Instagram stories in which he can be seen with a girl.

Notably, the very girl has been seen in many stories of Shaw on his Instagram handle. The girl we are talking about is Nidhhi Ravi Tapadiaa who has worked in a few regional movies alongside videos of music albums.

Talking about cricket, Shaw is currently in action during the Ranji Trophy edition of 2022-23 with Mumbai. Earlier, he had enjoyed a good run of form with the bat in limited-overs cricket. The Thane-born batting prodigy has proved himself both in domestic cricket and the Indian T20 League as well. But he is still waiting for a call from the national squad of the Indian team.

Shaw hasn’t appeared for India in international cricket since July 2021. He played his last international match in the form of a T20I match vs Sri Lanka.

Recently, the management ignored him while picking the squad for a team of India New Zealand tour to play three-match T20I series and as many ODI matches.

Although he had been a part of the Indian Test squad almost three years back in the year 2019-20. The Delhi batter in Indian T20 League played his last Test match for India against Australia when senior pacer Mitchell Starc dismissed him below the individual mark of 10 runs in both innings of the first red-ball fixture.

Since then, white outfits have also been a dream for the youngster to represent the national team at the highest level of the game. Most recently, the management ignored Shaw while they picked the squad for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka starting on Friday, the 3^rd of January.
