In a major setback for the team, Pakistani pacer Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the super-4 encounter against India. He sustained a side strain injury during the last group match against Hong Kong. He will be under the supervision of the medical team of PCB for the next tw0-three days. After this, the management will take a decision on his further participation in the tournament according to the medical reports.
But other than this, this news came as a chance for Pakistani cricket fans to troll Hasan Ali as he might replace Dahani in the playing XI against the Indians in the super-4 match on Sunday. They trolled Hasan Ali by saying if he has done any black magic to confirm his slot in the playing XI as Dahani is also injured now.
Here’s how Pakistani fans reacted to Dahani’s exclusion:

The medical team will take the further decision – PCB on Shahnawaz Dahani
Dahani has now become the third speedster of Pakistan who sustained injury very recently. Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi had a complaint of a right knee ligament injury and Mohammad Wasim Jr. sustained the same side strain injury with which Dahani is suffering now.
Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board has informed about the current update on Shahnawaz Dahani and his injury.
“Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for Sunday’s ACC T20 Asia Cup Super-4 match against India due to a suspected side strain. The injury happened while bowling in the match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday,” said the PCB in their official update.
“As is the case with any suspected side strain injury, the medical team will monitor him for the next 48-72 hours, following which they will make decisions, including carrying out a scan and further participation in the tournament,” PCB added later.
In the last match against Hong Kong, Dahani registered economical figures of 1/7 in two overs. Pakistan won the match by a massive margin of 155 runs by bundling up Hong Kong only on the score of 38 runs. Earlier than that, Dahani couldn’t scalp any wicket against India in the first match, although he scored 16 runs with the bat having two sixes.
